Who we are
Netsa is operated by Netsa BV, Hooikaai 45, 1000 Brussels, Belgium (enterprise number 1039.211.181). When you use our website or book a walkthrough, we are the controller of your personal data. When a company invites you to a simulation, that company is the controller and Netsa processes your data on its behalf; the privacy notice shown at the start of that simulation applies. What we collect
We keep data collection to a minimum. Here is what we may process:
- Booking data — When you book a walkthrough via Cal.com, we receive your name and email address. This is processed by Cal.com under their own privacy policy. On our Living Case Studies page the Cal.com booking calendar opens inside our website, and Cal.com may set the cookies it needs to make the booking work.
- Sample report requests — When you ask for a sample Work Report on our website, we receive your email address, the date of your request, the page you asked from and whether you agreed to marketing emails. We store this in Attio, our customer relationship tool, and use it to send you the sample report by email. We only send you other emails about Netsa if you ticked the separate marketing box, and you can unsubscribe from those at any time.
- Simulation data — When candidates complete a simulation, we process their responses, behavioral signals, and AI usage patterns. This data is used to generate evaluation reports and personalized feedback.
- Basic analytics — We may use privacy-friendly analytics (no cookies, no personal tracking) to understand how visitors use our website.
Why we process it
- To schedule and conduct walkthroughs (legitimate interest)
- To send you the sample Work Report you asked for (your request, which is the step you asked us to take)
- To email you about Netsa’s products, only if you ticked the marketing box (consent, which you can withdraw at any time)
- To run simulations and generate candidate evaluations (contract performance)
- To provide personalized feedback to candidates (contract performance)
- To improve our website and service (legitimate interest). Data from simulations we run for hiring companies is not used for this.
Where your data is stored
Simulation data is stored in Switzerland, which the EU recognises as giving adequate protection. Some of the providers we use are based in the United States, including Anthropic, which provides the AI used in simulations. Transfers to them rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The privacy notice of each simulation lists the providers involved.
AI and automated decisions
Netsa uses AI to structure and interpret candidate responses during simulations. The evaluation follows fixed product logic and predefined rubrics. AI does not make hiring decisions. All outputs are intended as decision support for recruiters, not as automated decisions with legal effect.
How long we keep it
- Booking data: deleted 6 months after the conversation
- Sample report requests: deleted 12 months after your last request, or earlier on request. If you withdraw marketing consent, we stop marketing emails straight away.
- Simulation data: kept for the period agreed with the hiring company and stated in that simulation’s privacy notice, and deleted earlier on request
- Candidate feedback: deleted together with the simulation data
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Request data portability
- Lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (GBA/APD)

Cookies
Most of this website uses no cookies. On our Living Case Studies page and our booking confirmation page, we ask for your permission to use Google Ads cookies. If you accept, Google Ads (Google Ireland Ltd) measures whether you reached us through one of our ads and whether you then booked a demo. For a booking we send Google only the booking reference, never your name or email address. If you decline, no Google code is loaded. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser. Google’s use of this data is described at policies.google.com/privacy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our product evolves. Material changes will be communicated on this page. The date at the top reflects the latest version.
